Hokodate to Hachinohe

We took trains from Hakodate to Hachinohe with a long walk uphill to the wrong hotel. Same company, but wrong location. Part of travel.
On our second hotel trek we passed the dramatic display from yesterday's Tanabata festival about two Heavenly lovers who could only meet on the seventh day of the seventh month. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tanabata
Being half starved we searched for a place we could agree on and ended up going to a long row of tiny restaurants with about six seats at each place expecting to each do something different. Miroku Yokocho was the place we were looking for. Jumping from gyoza to garlic beer and garlic fries to edamame we had the time of our lives and chatted with everyone about everything. One server/owner with glitter covered eyelashes called us Sexy and Amazing. I kind of liked how it sounded.
Lawson's was a market chain with a bunch of prepackaged food where we grabbed after dinner snacks to share in our hotel room.
The next morning we scooted out to Kabushima Shrine. A lovely building we couldn't enter because they were about to have a cerimony there.
Back to the hotel for our stuff and then catch the 300kph bullet train to Tokyo.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shinkansen
